Proposals can be submitted for the asbestos mitigation
and demolition of one, two, three and/or all four of the buildings.
detail the manner in which the utilities will be abandoned, asbestos mitigated,
building demolished, materials properly disposed of at an off-site location,
any holes filled to achieve proper grade with a material acceptable to the city,
and a list of any and all sub-contractors.
Site(s) needs to be left at even grade and free of debris. This should
not be a prevailing wage project. Any necessary fill is to be of native soils
similar to the surrounding soils.
The Buildings need to be demolished in a safe and effective manner. The utilities need to be properly disconnected, capped, and abandoned as legally required at all locations. Those utilities include-but are not limited to-power (electric and/or gas), sewer/septic, water, cable, and phone.
The contractor will need to get a demolition permit
and/or other permits as required by city, county, state, and/or federal rules, regulations,
or codes for each individual site. The contractor will need to obtain proper
disposal certificates/chain of custody documents and provide them to the City
prior to payment.
