Housing Advisory Committee

Purpose

The Housing Advisory Committee explores opportunities to facilitate provision of housing for all income levels, and it makes recommendations to the City Council.

The Housing Advisory Committee promotes public awareness of housing resources and promotes public participation in identifying and addressing housing issues and needs.

The City Council may authorize the Housing Advisory Committee to conduct those public hearings specified in the City's CDBG citizen participation plan which are not reserved to the City Council for decision-making.

    Apply for Historical Buildings and Sites Commission - Applications are being accepted for one position. Special qualification:  a representative who is either an owner of a property located within the Historic District, the owner of a property located within a Conservation District or the owner of a Historic Landmark as defined by Section 13.312 of the Development Code and Designated under Section 13.420 of the Development Code. Fill out and submit online by February 3, 2023

    Apply for Committee on Public Art (CoPA) - Applications are being accepted for three positions.  Fill out and submit online by February 10, 2023

    Apply for Historical Buildings and Sites Commission - Applications are being accepted for one member at large position.  Fill out and submit online by February 3, 2023

    Apply for Budget Committee - Applications are being accepted for four positions. Special qualification: A resident and elector of the City of Grants Pass who seeks diversity of philosophy and representation of divergent views of the community. Fill out and submit online by January 20, 2023

    Apply for Tourism Advisory Committee - Applications are being accepted for three positions.  Special qualifications: One position representing lodging properties within the City of Grants Pass, and two positions representing river guides, area attractions, realtors, restaurants, the media, marketing, and citizens-at-large.  Fill out and submit online by March 15, 2023

    Apply for Urban Tree Advisory Committee - Applications are being accepted for one position. Special qualification: Interest in the promotion and enhancement of the urban forest. Fill out and submit online by February 9, 2023
