The City of Grants Pass began the annual process for developing and adopting the Year 5 Annual Action Plan to fund activities and projects to address the priorities identified in the 5-Year Consolidated Plan in April 2019. The process followed timelines specified in the City’s Citizen Participation Plan and federal law.
The first public meeting was a Workshop held on April 2, 2019 to ascertain needs and priorities for use of CDBG funds for the 2019-2020 program year. After gathering comments and suggestions, a public hearing was held before the City Council on April 17, 2019 to discuss the Needs and Priorities for the 2019-2020 program year. The Draft 2019-2020 1-Year Annual Action Plan and Substantial Amendment was available for public comment from June 12 to July 11, 2019. On August 7, 2019 a public hearing was held by the City Council at which the Council adopted the 2019-2020 Year 5 Annual Action Plan and the Substantial Amendment. The adopted 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan was submitted to HUD August 13, 2019. HUD’s approval letter dated September 11, 2019 is posted below.
