The City of Grants Pass will temporarily suspend Finance Department in-person customer service activities at City Hall. The department is tentatively scheduled to reopen October 5, 2021.
Effective immediately, the City’s Finance Department Customer Service windows will not be available to in-person foot traffic. Full telephone and digital customer service activities will be available to all city customers.
City offices have taken steps to free up non-recorded telephone lines so that customers may pay their utility bills or other required payments by credit card in compliance with credit card security procedures over the phone. The city’s website is already capable of handling online bill payments through its secure transaction systems.
Customer service phone lines will remain open and active 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Two secure physical drop boxes are also available at City Hall for residents who wish to deliver their payments directly. The box contents are regularly retrieved and processed.

Accounting handles the accounting and record keeping of all City finances, coordinates and compiles the annual operating/capital budget document, prepares the annual financial report and administers the issuance of business licenses and taxes.
