A slow growing, rare evergreen conifer native to southern Oregon and northern California (3,500 to 7,000 feet). Noted as hardiest cypress in Northern America. Sometimes called Modoc Cypress. Well-drained soil is a must. Features: evergreen, unique bark, native. Full sun.
