COMMENTS Heart-shaped leaves that are smaller than the American Linden. Flowers are extremely attractive to bees and small nutletts attract birds. Has been used as a street tree for centuries in Europe and is very hardy. Fall color: yellow. Approved cultivars include 'Greenspire,' 'Harvest Gold,' and the narrow (15ft) 'Corinthian.' Other cultivars need to be approved by the urban forester prior to planting.
