Smaller deciduous tree with good fall color. Exfoliating bark exhibits a mosaic of green, white, and brown. Can be multistemmed, so select single stemmed for street trees. Requires full sun and prefers moist soils, though becomes highly drought tolerant once established. Tolerates clay soils and air pollution. Other cultivars for streets are available. Features: fall color, unique bark. Full sun to partial shade. |
