Abundant pink-purple flowers cover the tree in early spring, followed by heart-shaped leaves. Tolerant of clay soils, alkaline soils, and acidic soils. Select single stemmed tree for streets. A native to Oregon, this tree may not be as extravagant as the Eastern redbud, but its ability to grow in our climate makes it a wonderful addition to our urban forest. Features: flowers, native. Full sun to partial shade. |
