COMMENTS A thornless and fruitless osage orange variety with glossy green leaves that turn orange in fall. Once established, it is heat and drought tolerant. Right-of-way plantings must be 'White Shield' as this is a male (fruitless) cultivar that is most suitable to be along streets. Female cultivars are prohibited in our rights-of-way. OSU: "A tough, durable tree, does best in poor sites. Can withstand wetness, dryness, wind, and heat." Features: fall color. Full sun.
