[ARCHIVED] Accepting Applications for Historical Buildings and Sites Commission

Applications are being accepted for a position on the Historical Buildings and Sites Commission due to a term that expires November 30, 2017.

This committee reviews proposed alterations to any Historic District; promotes community historic preservation; advises other interested agencies on matters related to historic preservation; identifies areas of archaeological significance and buildings of historic or architectural significance. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be a resident of the City of Grants Pass. This position will be filled by an owner of property located within a Conservation District, or the owner of a Historic Landmark as identified by Section 13.412 of the Development Code. This is a two-year appointment.


You may obtain an application at the City Administration Office, 101 N.W. A Street, or online at Applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2017. Applicants will be interviewed by the Council at the Council Workshop on Monday, November 27, 2017. Appointments will be made by the Council at the City of Grants Pass Council meeting on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.
