Applications are being accepted for four positions on the Downtown Parking Taskforce.
The purpose of this taskforce is to explore issues related to downtown parking, review the Lancaster Downtown Parking Study and recommend a downtown parking plan for future parking improvements in the downtown.
The taskforce will consist of five members: One designated by the Chamber of Commerce; one current business owner/operator within the City’s Central Business District; one current building owner within the City’s CBD; and two citizens at large. The citizens at large must have their primary residence in the City limits.
All members must have an interest in the promotion of Grants Pass’ downtown.
The work of the taskforce is considered complete when a downtown parking plan is recommended to the City Council.
Applications are available at the City Administration Office, 101 N.W. A Street, or online at www.grantspassoregon.gov/committee-application. Applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2019. Appointments will be made by the Council at the City of Grants Pass Council meeting on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.
