The City of Grants Pass will be conducting a meeting to discuss next steps in trail planning for Dollar Mountain. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 1:30 pm in the City’s Council Chambers.
The City was awarded a technical assistance grant through the National Park Service Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance program (NPS-RTCA). This program supports community-led outdoor recreation projects across the nation.
At the upcoming meeting we will be reviewing project goals, vision, scope and timeline. We will also be reviewing a draft survey and data collection needs. If you are interested in being a part of the process, we are seeking input from community members, user group representatives and nearby property owners.
For those who did not make the project kick-off meeting in December, there will be a pre-meeting that same day at 1 pm that will provide background details to help get attendees up to speed.
