This position works rotating shifts including days, nights and weekends. High call volume and a fast-paced environment are part of being a City of Grants Pass Police Officer.
Lateral Officers must be either Oregon DPSST certified, or certified in another state with reciprocity. To qualify as a Lateral, the required experience must be as a sworn, full-time officer with a municipal, county or state law enforcement agency, excluding time spent in the police academy.
