GRANTS PASS – Following the lead of state health officials, the City of Grants Pass will enact temporary precautions against the potential spread of COVID-19 by suspending Finance Department in-person customer service activities at City Hall for a period up to 30 days.
Effective Monday, March 16, the city’s Finance Department Customer Service windows will not be available to in-person foot traffic. Full telephone and digital customer service activities will be available to all city customers.
City offices have taken steps to free up non-recorded telephone lines so that customers may pay their utility bills or other required payments by credit card in compliance with credit card security procedures over the phone. The city’s website is already capable of handling online bill payments through its secure transaction systems.
Customer service phone lines will remain open and active 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Two secure physical drop boxes are also available at City Hall for residents who wish to deliver their payments directly. The box contents are regularly retrieved and processed.
Business and Occupation Tax forms and other customer service needs and information can be found at the city’s website under the Finance Department heading and sections. For additional information, visit www.grantspassoregon.gov or call (541)450-6035.
