The City of Grants Pass Department of Public Safety is recruiting for a Disinfection Technician.
The Disinfection Technician is a part-time (25 hours per week) limited duration grant funded position. Current funding is available through January 2022.
The position will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting offices, meeting rooms, locker rooms, common spaces and public safety equipment, including vehicles. Incumbents will be required to operate a motor vehicle and must be able to work independently.
- Deep cleaning and disinfecting of offices, meeting rooms, equipment and vehicles.
- Cleaning rooms and equipment with EPA-approved products, including high-touch areas such as tables, desks, chairs, doors and other touch points.
- Use of Aero Clave RDS 3110 decontamination equipment.
- Transport public safety vehicles to and from disinfection points within the City of Grants Pass
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: * A high school diploma or GED * A valid Oregon driver’s license, or the ability to obtain a valid Oregon Class C Drivers License by appointment to the position * Ability to obtain CJIS Certification within 60 days of hire * Must be at least 18 years of age
