The 18th annual Art Along the Rogue street painting and music festival returns to downtown Grants Pass October 1 - 3. The free weekend-long event is presented by the Grants Pass Committee on Public Art and is sponsored-supported by the generous donations of local and regional businesses and the City of Grants Pass.
The festivities kick off Friday, October 1, at 5 pm, with live music. The fun continues Saturday morning at 9 am when the featured chalk artists begin painting H Street. The event continues through Sunday at 5 pm. This year, in order to support the Oregon Arts, all featured street painters are Oregon-based, with several hailing from Grants Pass and the surrounding Rogue Valley. Enjoy live entertainment all day Saturday and Sunday as well as craft and food vendors that will be set up along H Street and in the Owl parking lot. During this family-friendly event, kid-squares have been donated so that children can try their hand at street painting and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To ensure a safe festival, social distancing and masks are encouraged and hand-washing stations will be provided. For more information about Art Along the Rogue, visit www.travelgrantspass.com
