[ARCHIVED] Accepting applications for Tourism Advisory Committee

Committees Get Involved

Applications are being accepted for six positions on the Tourism Advisory Committee. Three positions have expired, two positions will expire on March 31, 2022, and one position will expire on March 31, 2023. 

The goal of the Committee is to encourage visitors and residents to engage in community activities while enhancing the positive image of our City through marketing, promotions and destination management. 

 The purpose of the Tourism Advisory Committee is to review and advise the work of the City’s Tourism Contractor. This includes reporting findings and recommendations to City Council as needed.

 This committee will include (A) two members representing lodging properties within the City of Grants Pass, and (B) others representing river guides, area attractions, realtors, restaurants, the media, marketing and citizens-at-large.

 Applications are available at the City Administration Office, 101 N.W. A Street, or online at  Applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022.  Applications will be reviewed by the committee Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Appointments will be made by the Council at the City of Grants Pass Council meeting on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.
