Applications are being accepted for three positions on the
Tourism Advisory Committee due to terms expiring March 31, 2017. These positions are three-year terms.
The purpose of the Tourism Advisory Committee is to review
the strategy for the implementation of the tourism program and to report its
findings and recommendations to Council on a quarterly basis. The committee also coordinates the efforts of
local tourism providers and others for program events and to identify and stage
special events, promotions and other tourism-related activities.
