The City of Grants Pass is accepting applications for five
positions on the Collaborative Economic Development Committee.
The Committee consists of 13 members, with five appointed by
the City of Grants Pass, five appointed by Josephine County, one appointed by
Cave Junction, one member representing the Grants Pass/Josephine County Chamber
of Commerce and one representing Rogue Community College. The CEDC is an advisory committee to the City
of Grants Pass and Josephine County and will be responsible for the
implementation of the joint Economic Development Strategic Plan adopted by the
Grants Pass City Council and Josephine County Board of Commissioners. The Economic Development Strategic Plan can
be found on the City website. Target
areas include: Services, Infrastructure, and Workforce Development.
City appointments will consist of a member at large and
citizens with special qualifications/experience in: Business Retail, Manufacturing/Industrial,
Health Care, and Finance/Commercial lending/Real estate. All members of the CEDC must be at least 18
years of age and reside within the boundaries of Josephine County.
These are three-year (staggered) terms.

will be made by the Council at the City Council meeting on Wednesday, June 7,
